SHIPPING CONTAINER SUPPLIER IN UTAH

Nobody Here Has to Go Ask Someone Else

Scott buys straight from the supplier, so a question about what is available comes back the same day rather than the following week. Lynn handles sales. Two people means the answer you get on the phone is the answer, not something that has to go away and be checked with a department.

SHIPPING CONTAINER SIZES

Whatever You’re Storing, There’s a Container for It

Everything we hold is high cube, nine and a half feet tall rather than the standard eight. That foot and a half matters the moment you shelve it out or build it into an office. Standard height comes in on special order.

20′ High Cube

The workhorse. One site’s worth of storage

40′ High Cube

Twice the length, same height

Extra Access

Doors on both ends, both sides, or a full side

Modified & Custom

Built to your spec, quoted to the job

SHIPPING CONTAINERS FOR SALE

Storage That Shows Up Where the Work Is

Containers for Sale

Three grades, from near new down to honestly worn, in 20 and 40 foot high cube. Beige is what we typically hold, gray close behind, blue and green ordered in.

Extra Access Options

Double doors, four door, and open side units for when loading from one end is not enough. These come as one trip containers, and they earn their money the first time you need something out of the middle of a full one.

Modifications

Personnel doors, windows, roll up doors, interior walls, stand up counters, power, lighting, and mini split heat and air. Finished in the color you want. Quoted to the job.

Delivery & Placement

BASS Logistics is our own delivery arm. Scott drives it out himself, backs it in, and sets it where you want it. Nobody hands your container to a stranger.

Ten Foot Containers

Need something smaller? A 20 foot unit gets cut into two 10 foot containers. There is a modification charge, and it goes in the quote with the container.

On the Yard Right Now

We hold 20 and 40 foot one trip units in beige, ready to go out. Everything else comes in to order, which is a matter of days rather than the weeks most people expect.

One-Trip

A new container. One loaded voyage, then retired from shipping. Great condition, very little sign of use. If a unit has picked up a dent along the way, the price comes down for it and you hear about it first.

Cargo-Worthy

Used, but still certified to carry freight internationally. Water and airtight, with small dents along the sides from its working life. Sound and sealed, for less money.

Used

Not certified. The dents are bigger and these containers look used, because they are. Still plenty of container for the right job, and priced that way. Some need a repair or two.

SHIPPING CONTAINER CONDITION GRADES

You’ll Know Exactly What’s Arriving

Nobody wants to sign for a container and find surprises. You get the grade, the condition, and where the wear actually is before any money changes hands. For units coming out of our Salt Lake City yard we can usually send a photo of the exact container. What we describe is what comes off the truck.

WHERE TO BUY A SHIPPING CONTAINER

Why Buyers Call BASS First

Buying a container usually means waiting: on availability, on a quote, on a delivery date that keeps moving. All three normally sit on somebody else’s desk. Not here.

A Straight Answer on Availability

The supplier is a phone call, not a chain. Ask what we can get and you find out today.

The Owner Drives It

DOT registered and fully insured, and the same outfit that sold it to you is the one backing the trailer in.

The Price Includes Getting It There

Freight across this much country is a real cost, so we build it into the number instead of adding it later.

Built Out, Not Just Delivered

Doors, windows, interior walls, power, lighting, and heat and air, finished in your colors. All of it done in house.

Who We Serve

SHIPPING CONTAINER USES

If You’ve Got Something to Store, We’ve Got the Container

Feed, Tack & Equipment

Ranching & Agriculture

Out of the weather and off the ground, sitting where the animals and the work already are.

Remote Site Storage

Mining

Gravel roads and no address. We deliver to plenty of places a map does not name.

Site Offices

Engineering

Partitioned rooms, power, counters, and climate control. A working office on a bare site.

Secure Tool Storage

Construction & Trades

Steel walls and a lock, on site. The crew stops loading the truck at the end of every day.

Seasonal Overflow

Retail & Distribution

Peak stock and promotional inventory, held on your own lot instead of paid for across town.

Proximity & Rental Stock

Developers & Investors

Materials kept at the development rather than hauled in each morning. Some buyers take units purely to rent out locally themselves.

WHERE TO BUY A SHIPPING CONTAINER

What Your Site Needs on Delivery Day

A 40 footer needs room to work. Getting this right beforehand is the difference between a container set exactly where you wanted it and a truck that has driven a long way for nothing.

Width

A container is eight feet wide. The spot needs at least five feet more than that, so around thirteen feet of clear width. We can set one tight alongside another, but we need the room while backing in.

Run-out space

Eighty to a hundred and twenty feet of clear straight space in front of where it will sit, so the truck and trailer can pull out from underneath.

Ground and access

Firm ground, and a route in that a loaded 40 foot trailer can physically take.

HOW TO BUY A SHIPPING CONTAINER

From First Call to Container on Site

It starts with a short conversation: how many, what size, what condition, and whether you need anything built into it. Everything after that is us doing the work and telling you where it stands.

New Project1
Tell us the job. Quantity, size, style, condition, and any modifications.
New Project2
We source and price it. Straight to the supplier, back to you with a real number.
New Project3
We plan the build. Custom work scoped and scheduled.
New Project4
We deliver and place it. Access and ground conditions confirmed before we set out.

No guesswork, and nobody to chase for an update.

Tell Us What You Need

Because freight is built into the price, the number depends on where it is going. Four questions and we can quote it.

No obligation. We follow up by phone or email, whichever you prefer.

FAQ

Questions We Get a Lot

Most buyers land on a 20 or a 40. Think about what is going in it: tools, feed, and equipment for one site usually fit a 20, while inventory, machinery, or anything you want to walk around inside wants a 40. If you need something smaller than either, ask about the 10 foot option.

One trip is effectively new, having made a single loaded voyage. Cargo worthy still holds its international freight certification, so it is sealed and sound, though the sides show their working life. Used has lost that certification: bigger dents, possibly a repair needed, and priced well below the other two.

Same thing. Conex box, cargo container, freight container, sea can, they all describe the steel shipping containers we sell. Conex is the older military term and it stuck, particularly out west. Ask for whichever one you grew up calling it.

Eighteen inches of headroom, essentially. The standard box is eight feet tall; a high cube adds a foot and a half. We stock high cube only, because that difference is what turns a container into somewhere you can work rather than somewhere you can only stack. Eight foot units can be ordered in.

Beige is the usual stock, with gray generally available too. Blue and green can be ordered in. If a modification calls for a particular color, the container gets finished to match.

Destination changes it more than anything else, which is why there is no price list here that would be honest for both Ogden and rural Nevada. Send the size, the grade, and where it is headed, and a real number comes back rather than a range.

We sell rather than rent. If the need is short term it is still worth asking, because a bought container can be sold on afterward and that sometimes works out better than a long rental. Buying to rent out locally yourself is also a common reason people come to us, and we are happy to talk through which units suit that.

Room either side of the spot, a long clear run in front, firm ground, and an approach a fully loaded rig can physically manage. Exact measurements are in the site prep section above, and photos of the location settle any doubt quickly.

Almost anywhere the truck can reach and back out of again. The things that stop us are steep mountain grades, tight off-road turns, mud, and snow on roads nobody clears. Remote and gravel access is doable but carries an up-charge, and we say so before you order rather than after.

All of Utah, the western halves of Wyoming and Colorado, the southern part of Idaho, and everywhere in Nevada except the far western cities. Outside those areas, call anyway. It is usually a question of cost rather than a flat no.

Usually yes if it is a Salt Lake City unit. Sourced from further afield, an individual photo is not always possible, but you will still get an accurate account of the grade and any wear before committing.
